MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Due to a recent expansion and subsequent doubling of the workforce, this manufacturer of components for the automotive industry is currently looking to expand their dedicated maintenance team to cope with additional demand on resources. Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities ? Main Line Maintenance ? Maintenance and repair of PLC based test equipment ? Programming of PLC equipment used in the testers ? Calibration of End-of-Line testers ? Fault finding on End-of-Line testers ? Creation and upkeep of maintenance records as required by ISO standards ? Maintenance of jigs and fixtures used in the production cells ? Maintenance of flow line production facilities ? Maintenance of all hand tools (pneumatic and electrical) used on the production cells. ? Creation and upkeep of maintenance records as required by ISO standards ? Utilities Maintenance ? General maintenance of building. ? Maintenance of fixtures and fittings within the building. . Installation and revision of facilities for the production cells. ? Maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment. ? Ensure all hazardous materials (chemicals, gasses, etc) are stored correctly on site. ? Creation and upkeep of maintenance records as required by ISO standards Qualifications/Experience/Training ? Preferable a BTEC in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics ? Technicians with an alternative qualification in Electrical Engineering and experience in manufacturing industry or who can demonstrate transferable skills will be considered. ? Computer literacy is essential as records will be maintained electronically and formal reports on equipment will be required periodically ? A full driving licence is required. Benefits ? Basic salary of 20,000 ? Paid Overtime ? 25 days holidays plus statutory days ? Contributory Pension Scheme ? Medical Cover ? Non contractual Bonus Hours of work 8.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. (3.30 p.m. finish on Friday)
