The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers. At national Citizens Advice we work in close partnership with bureaux to ensure an effective and high quality service for all.

Consumer, Money and Justice Team

Salary up to 21,279 per annum inclusive

Citizens Advice has a strong track record in successfully influencing public and private sector practices and policies.

Working with a team of four Social Policy Officers, a Senior Social Policy Officer and the Head of Social Policy, your excellent organisational skills, knowledge and interest in social issues will help us to produce more high quality evidence based reports and publications. You will help with surveys and research, undertake analysis of evidence and prepare responses to consultation papers and correspondence. You will have a good knowledge and understanding of current social policy issues and policy making processes, knowledge of the processes involved in influencing policy and be willing to work in any policy area. You must be able to work on your own initiative, plan and prioritise a busy workload, be able to write clearly and undertake research.
